Wassily kandinsky was influenced by impressionism, fauvism and expressionism (including more) which made him significant to my project as these are all movements that i have studied.
In 1903 Moscow, he had his first one man show, following by two the next year in Poland.
He wanted a kind of painting where colour, line and shape were freed from the concept of objects, where everything could be interpreted.
